I’m studying Journalism and Justice & Law at American University (AU)
in Washington, DC. My work focuses on crime, entertainment, culture, and investigative
reporting with a focus on compelling storytelling. I’ve written about the complications with the FAFSA forms over the course of the fall 2024 semester, covered legal proceedings for D.C. Witness, and written about entertainment and culture for The Eagle and The Aviary.
As the current Managing Editor of The Aviary, I aim to amplify women and non-binary voices in the media, whether that be through aiding my writers in creating powerful pieces or forming articles of my own. Beyond reporting, I’m passionate about education, as seen in my role as a Senior Peer Facilitator for AU Experience courses and as a tutor at Kumon. I’m always looking to publish stories that inform, engage audiences, and inspire conversations.
